Flying Monkeys and Riding Motorcycles the Oz Inspired Bracelet

When we shared our Wizard of Oz creations recently, I mentioned that I had another Oz  piece to share and hinted that it was inspired  by something that flies.  Other than the witches, I guess it was obvious that monkeys were involved.  Sometimes you get an idea and don't know where it comes from, well this is the fantasized result.

Do you want to see it bigger?  Click on the image.

I've never worn a wrap bracelet before, never tried one on, but I had to photograph it to show you.  Without having  really long arms, you know, monkey like arms, I still needed to take my own photo, so  that's what I did; lifted and stretched, pardon the blurry images.

The bracelet is about 24.5 inches long and I put it in my shop.  I think it would also look good on the upper arm, but that was too difficult for my non-elasticated arms to manage to take a photo.

Why am I thinking I might need to test ride a Harley?  Have you ever ridden a motorcycle?  I did ride as a passenger once, for a short ride, a long time ago.  The driver was brand new with motorcycles  and could not keep the bike upright.

"Come on, come on, everybody is going for a ride, you have to!..."  You can imagine a new rider, a new passenger, and a heavy machine
going around a corner and splat- my sore body.

If you like bracelets, what is your favorite style?   It was fun trying out a new style which is now in a gift box
awaiting someone with that special *razzmatazz to purchase and enjoy.

*vim, vigor, spicy, showy, lively, exciting, flashy, energetic, magical, intrigue-Just envisioning who would appreciate this style of bracelet.

It definitely has a leather and chaps feel to it but my goodness, you toppled on your first ride, yikes, that alone stops me from hopping on. I like to watch from afar.

This bracelet is so cool!!! Great job Gloria! It's so much fun!!! I love bracelets! Doesn't matter what they look like, I just put them on! LOL! I have never been on a motorcycle before. Your poor sore body!!!
Just to let you know, I couldn't find the products button? LOL! I downloaded firefox and it seems to be working now. Don't know why I can't get it to work on Google? Thanks for all your help ;o)

That is a really interesting bracelet Gloria! I'm thinking it would be an great accessory for a female biker!

My fav bracelet? It's an old sterling silver bracelet of a snake that wraps around the arm ... kinda reminds me of something Cleopatra would wear.

Next fav bracelet? My charm bracelets! When we were first engaged my hubby started collected sterling silver charms from places we visited and special life events ... I now have two fully "loaded" bracelets and enough for a decent third! Its really cool ... I can remember each place we visited when I see those charms. They are loaded with wonderful memories! Only drawback? You can hear me coming a block away when I wear them! LOL!

What a fun post! Happy day Gloria!

What a great bracelet. I love it.
Bracelets are so cool I have been working on a few styles myself. I will be posting about them soon.
My fav..bracelet is 2 small gold link bracelets that I wear all the time. I never take them off. Sometimes I add another one for fun.

I had a mini motorcycle when I was younger. I was too scared to ride it in traffic..Sold it within a year.

Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Cynthia, it appeals to my adventurous side!

Thanks Debbie,

Thanks Lucy, yes I had to give it a go, too bad the driver couldn't take no for an answer. I think it would be great to ride though.

Thanks Stacy, it's fun to branch out to explore new themes. Sorry your photo bug didn't work, but good to hear it's now fixed!

Thanks Karen Anne, oh I can imagine that snake bracelet on you- fun item.

Your charm bracelets must be fantastic, please show them on your blog someday. lol hearing you come a block away- like a cowbell, funny.

I've seen some charms moved to chains to wear as necklaces, maybe you could do that with the newest ones. Great hubby to bring you so many ♥

Thanks Chris, I hope someone will enjoy it.

Thanks Linda, and I remember those bikes, "mopeds" is that what you mean? I always wanted one, but Mom said, "no." Ah well.

I had a friend who never took her jewelry off, too. Look forward to seeing your new creations ♥

That bracelet is awesome and unique!! I've ridden on the back of a Harley before and love it, although I always have accidents in the back of my mind.
