No Dust on These Feathers Peacock Stalker

Sneeze on Monday, sneeze for danger.
Sneeze on Tuesday, kiss a stranger.
Sneeze on Wednesday, get a letter.
Sneeze on Thursday, something better.
Sneeze on Friday, sneeze for sorrow.
Sneeze on Saturday, see your true love to-morrow.

The little poem has nothing to do with Inspiration Avenue Weekly Challenge, just thought it was a cute poem to share, one of those old time rhymes.

Here's my piece for this art nouveau theme, peacocks were often featured in the art of that period.

I took my original photo, left, and manipulated it in Picnik
I wrote about this particular peacock before.

OMG, I've been sneezing a lot lately. Much is in store for me lol. (Have to avoid sneezing today though {Friday})

I love the peacock with his glowing feathers, and the embellishments, too. Fancy...just like a peacock should be!

Not sure which is cuter, the poem or the photo you manipulated. Very nicely done. I really like the Art Nouveau inspired frame you used, too.

Very original take on the theme - the frame fits the style perfectly.

Great pic and nice manipulation of the image... piknik is fun isn't it... we used to have some peacocks that lived in the garden of the house next door and they are kind of noisy suckers, but they are so beautiful we always forgave them xx

Cutting nails...
Monday for heath
Tuesday for wealth
Wednesday beat day of all
Thursday for losses
Friday for crosses
& Saturday no good at all...
and Sunday
don't even think about Sunday!

Superstitious? Don't put peacock feathers in the house, I think it's Scottish... my Grandma told me, the nail cutting... that's from the Irish side LOL... Matt Smith I'm keeping for myself (River's about -sorta kinda - my age, loved LOVED David Tennant but Matt Smith, he doesn't even look hat good, but I think my FAV Dr Who... can you tell I've had a glass of wine LOL!

I love peacocks and you've done a great job with your photo - the design is really lovely!
PS - I have to ask - what if you sneeze on a Sunday?

Thanks for leaving your thoughts! I appreciate each and every one of you.

Shelle, I'll pick Mon, Tues, or Wed then, neat little poem you shared. Not sharing Tennant you can have Smith all to yourself. I've given up most of my superstitions, I do think I heard that about the feathers from someone on my Celtic side, too.

Sunday sneezing, I couldn't find that line, so maybe it's okay because of all the blessings that day. If anybody finds the line for Sunday, please let us know.
