This Welsh mountain pony was just perfect for a Saint David's Day Greeting to you.
Wild and semi-wild ponies have a long history in Wales. The church in ruins in the background and the pony's shadow add to the beauty of this scene. Thanks for stopping by today and hope you enjoy this photo greeting on my own second national holiday. (The pony is in Wales, I'm not; wishes...).

I love cool postcards and I wouldn't mind visiting Whales, maybe someday...
Let's start a tour group. I've been to Wales several times and would love to visit there again. This summer the Olympics will probably drive up the prices and then the Queen's Diamond Jubilee would be something fun to be there for, but...after that the calendar is open. Deb, your daughter will be so close to Wales on her visit. The pony trekking in the Brecon Beacons is something I would love to do sometime.
I can't find your linky follow button. I would like to follow you. Super cute blog.
Hi Lee, thanks for visiting. My follow gadgets are on the right sidebar. I visited to leave a comment at your blog, but the embedded comment form is not working for me on lots of blogs. You are a no-reply blogger and I couldn't email you, either. Hope you come back and see this, it'd be great to have you visit and follow. Thanks.
So cute ;o) Happy Saint David's Day ;o) Sorry I am late! I have never been to Wales, only England.
Hey Stacy, thanks and late is fine, too! I emailed. As they say, "Wales is Wonderful!"
Great photo. I hope to visit Wales someday...along with a million other destinations!
Val, you come and visit me when I go live there! The photo is great, by Jeff Buck I only added the frames and the text on picnik for the holiday. A sweet looking pony.
