Thank Goodness for Short Months 29Faces to Show

This is a scary proposition for me.  Create 29 faces, one per day for the month.  See that cute button on the right sidebar?  You can linkup at Ayala's blog to join in the process and while you're here at my blog, you can see the posts by clicking on my label, "29Faces" in the left sidebar label list.

Confession, I stink at drawing, that's why I made paper collages, but to torture my readers I will be posting my drawing attempts.  I shouldn't think to be good at drawing if it's not an innate talent, so then I'll have to practice.

Well, I hope it's okay that I'll not post on the weekends, so there will be extra humiliation during the week to add the weekend drawings.  Brace yourself and thanks for sticking with me.  Here goes...

I don't know who he is, a cross between a rocker and a rugby player, maybe a construction worker,  sunglasses and all.  A sketch with a plain number 2 pencil.

ETA:  The buttons for direct links to the challenge and all the faces were deleted.  Clicking the "art" label will give you these and more posts for art.

I would say you are quite the artist! All I can draw are stick people and even those look like suckers!! I think it is cool looking!

You are much braver than me, Gloria! I can't even begin to draw a face.

You're off to a great start!

Gloria, I am no good at faces, so I am proud of you doing this challenge! I think he is kind of cool looking! He looks like an English rocker to me ;o) Great stuff! Have an excellent day! (Karen Anne, changed her blog, so you should be able to comment, if she hasn't told you ;o) Take Care ;o)

I think he works at our coffee shop. :) Except he doesn't wear his rocker glasses on duty, of course. You are right about the practice and I think we will all be better after 29ish days of doing this! That's what I'm hoping for.

Well, this is the first male face of the contest! And he is great ♥

I think it's a very interesting drawing! I should take that challenge, too. I cannot draw either...there's a big difference between painting and drawing. Some people don't understand that...but true! I look forward to seeing more of your faces!

Oh man, you guys had me laughing! Glad you liked him. Party boy with piercings, tough guy, rocker dude, coffee shop guy- love it! If you haven't linked up, don't hide, and thanks for stopping here and giving me a boost. Until the next face...

I also wanted to let you know that if I don't comment at your blog, it's a bug that's been going around for a few weeks. It might be because of the "Embedded" comment setup. If the comment has "Reply" under it, my comment disappears and you won't be able to read it. If you switch to Pop Up or Full Page comments, the bug isn't a problem for people to leave a comment.

Very cool! Neat piercings as well - better for a rocker than rugby player I expect...

He's totally cool and fascinating. WAY better than all those whimsy, pretty, cutesy faces that all look the same. Please don't put yourself down. It hurts.

Thanks everyone- yes, those piercings might hurt in a tackle! You're welcome, Shelle Satina, I'm working on it- it's a long habit, and time to change. Thanks so much.
