Singing With the Windows Closed

Do you feel like cocooning inside now that the weather is getting cooler (I know you lucky people south of the equator are feeling Spring), but I had to break down and put the heat on September 30th, it's only been in the 40'sF outside in the daytime, so autumn is here, no more open windows (only in the car when I'm not singing.)  Do you have favorite music you sing to?

Here are some favorites:  Surprising Shoppers , Nat King Cole  and Louis Armstrong .

I like the cool crisp air and good nighttime sleeping--what I don't like is the mold that comes with the rain & downed leaves...leaves me stuffy & spacy!

I like to sing along to Beatles, Elvis, & older Country--dating myself, huh?

I love it when it's cold! The window is always open, especially at night, but when the heat is turned on, then I can't do that. Singing to Earth Wind And Fire, is my favorite thing to do ;o)

Thanks Deb, Stacy, and Cindy!

The stories I could tell about singing to the classics- I went to a EWF concert in Wales, no one was dancing in their seat or singing along except me!

It's nice to have the window open a teeny bit, I know money out the window, but it's nice I don't do it, though.

I hear you on the mold with the leaves- same problem, except itchy, sneezy, and lethargic just like 3 of the dwarves, not Snow White unfortunately.

Hi Ed, Lisa, and Katherine!

My favorites spring and autumn, wish they were much longer than summer and winter, but can't control the weather- outside; inside I can!

Autumn leaves are just beautiful. K, when I yell at the tv my dog gets scared!

It's getting pretty cold in MI as well but Hubs and I decided to avoid the heating for as long as we can. Crazy people, we are! :)

It still felt like summer in Delaware until the first day of October! The weather is beautiful now, just a little chilly at night.

Hmmm ... right now I have the Foster the People cd in my car, so I suppose that's my favorite to sing along to this week. :D

Hey Gloria! I'm sorry a reply has taken ages - my comments facility has been moody, it just won't let me reply to people! Yes, the 19th was lovely thank you, I managed to celebrate all weekend :) Hope yours was good too!

Autumn music...I find The Antlers are lovely and dreamy, they seem to suit crisp air and sunny cold days! Lisa.

Hi Tanya, a, and Lisa! I know, put a sweater on, drink something warming, and keep busy to stay warm. I think we may have a reprieve next week, our weather here is always up and down except once winter starts it's here until May.

I'm hearing new names of bands, this is great. I know you write often about the music in and around Cardiff, Lisa, must be great to hear new things. Glad you bd was a good one!
